Teledyne Impulse-PDM Ltd is a harsh environment engineering company which has been in business for over 25 years. An exclusive distributor for off the shelf Teledyne Impulse underwater connectors and cable assemblies, during the last quarter of a century, TI-PDM has developed into a subsea engineering company supplying high quality bespoke engineered connectivity solutions to customer requirements.
Today, TI-PDM products are used in harsh conditions in a broad range of industries including the military; oil and gas; marine; nuclear; renewable energy; Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles; Autonomous Underwater Vehicles; oceanographic; geophysical, and scientific. Geographically, PDM provides engineered solutions worldwide, and specifically to the UK; Europe; India; Singapore, and Egypt.
The company is totally committed to quality, recognised initially with the achievement of BS 5750 Part 2 accreditation in 1992, and subsequently with the awarding of ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation. This year, TI-PDM has also signed up to SC21, a stringent business improvement programme aimed at achieving supply chain excellence throughout the UK's aerospace, defence and security industries. Help for Heroes was the Teledyne Impulse-PDM chosen charity for 2012. There were various activities throughout the year at TI-PDM to support the charity, and for each completed customer feedback survey a £5 donation was made on behalf of our customers. We plan to continue this in 2013.
