PDM views Quality as one of the key driving forces behind its business.

BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation demonstrates PDM’s absolute commitment to quality. The quality management system covers all aspects of design & manufacture including the design process and provides full traceability to military requirements.

PDM's quality system was first recognised in 1993 when it received accreditation to BS 5750: Part 2. This was upgraded to ISO 9001 in 1999.

We perform the following in-house testing of the manufactured product, as required:

• Insulation Resistance Continuity / Resistance
• Capacitance
• Inductance
• Fibre Optical Signal Loss testing
• Dimensional inspection

We can also offer other inspection processes such as pressure testing, calibration, destruction and X-ray (real-time and hard-copy) if the customer requires it.

Health and Safety

PDM runs a Health and Safety management system as part of its integrated management system and is committed to the welfare of its staff, visitors and customers. The system is consistent with BS OHSAS 18001.

Environment

PDM’s environmental management system demonstrates its commitment to the environment. The PDM system is consistent with BS EN ISO 14001.

Where required, PDM manufactures and supplies any of its products as RoHS compliant.

PDM are registered as a EEE supplier.  We are compliant with REACH directives and actively manage our supply chain to ensure continuous product quality.
