Quality
PDM views Quality as one of the key driving forces behind its business.PDM's BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation demonstrates our absolute commitment to quality. PDM's system includes full traceability to stringent military requirements and a fully recognised design process. We are constantly improving our integrated management system to reflect customer, corporate and legislative suggestions and requirements.
PDM's commitment to Quality was recognised in 1993 when it received accreditation to BS 5750: Part 2. This was upgraded to ISO 9001 in 1999.
We perform the following in-house testing of the manufactured product, as required:
- Insulation Resistance Continuity / Resistance
- Capacitance
- Inductance
- Fibre Optical Signal Loss testing
- Dimensional inspection
X-ray (real-time and hard-copy) if the customer requires it.
Health and Safety
PDM runs a Health and Safety management system as part of its integrated management system. It shows its commitment to the welfare of its staff, visitors and customers. Although PDM has not formally applied for OHSAS 18001 accreditation, the system is in place and provides an effective management tool.

Environment
PDM runs an environmental management system as part of its integrated management system to show its commitment to the environment.PDM has run recycling and energy efficiency programs in-house, which have shown positive business as well as environmental results.
Where appropriate, PDM has the ability to manufacture and supply any of its products as RoHS compliant.
Although PDM has not formally applied for BS EN ISO 14001 accreditation, the system is in place and provides an effective management tool.
QHSE Department
The QHSE department will answer any of your queries relating to product or service quality, environmental or health and safety issues.Roy Mepham

is the Quality Control Co-ordinator. He is the primary contact for all matters relating to Quality Control and his direct line is 01420 81620.
Alison Crow
is the QHSE Assistant. She is primarily in charge of carrying out risk assessments and administering the material safety data sheets for PDM products. Her direct line is 01420 81612.
Sean Bicknell
is the Chief Inspector. He is primarily contact for all inspection queries related to manufactured products. He can be contacted through 01420 85848.
